"I'm happy I got to enjoy snowboarding today. It's the Olympics, so you take it seriously, but the real win for me was having so much fun. Everything just felt right," he said.
But here's where it gets controversial... Guseli's journey doesn't end there. He's set to compete in the halfpipe, an event he originally planned to focus on. This unexpected qualification has left him with mixed emotions.
"I shouldn't have even been here. I can't be too disappointed, but it's true I didn't qualify the conventional way. I'm happy to ride and excited for the halfpipe. It's a blessing to have another event to look forward to," he added.
