The scoop reveals, "Doom’s right-hand man is a wizard who can use a sling ring. He wears a mask similar to Doom’s, but with a slot for a third eye on his forehead." Now, the obvious guess would be Doctor Strange, right? But here's the twist: Benedict Cumberbatch's (former) Sorcerer Supreme alignment with Doom isn't mentioned in the recent plot leak. Some online scoopers believe the breakdown is only partially correct, which could explain the omission.
While Doctor Strange does join forces with Doom in the 2015 Secret Wars comic run, it remains to be seen how and why he sides with the villain in the MCU. Both movies will be directed by the Russo brothers, who are making their MCU return after helming Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.
